Batophobia is the fear or high rising structures and monuments. This fear increases as the person nears the high objects and it causes them to react with anxiety. Batophobia is attributed to the causes which are still unknown to the researchers and can affect people of any age. It is some inherent condition of the brain and cannot be attributed to some incidence of life.
The symptoms of Batophobia includes feeling shortness of breath, heavy breathing, sweating, anxiety, etc, when coming close to high buildings or structure. The grandeur of the high building seems to cause nausea and nervousness in the person suffering from Batophobia.
