Blennophobia - Fear of slime
Blennophobia is the fear from slime and throwing slime on the body. Slime is the mucous or stick substance, something like gel released from fishes, snails, and other animals. There was a tele series in which people threw slime at each other to show contempt mixed with laughter. Slime is quite sticky in nature. People suffering from Blennophobia thinks that they will suffocate because of this thick mucous fluid and it will cause harm to them.
Blennophobia is attributed to some incident which has a lasting impact on the sufferers mind for slime and its throwing.
