Cancerophobia or Carcinophobia- Fear of cancer.
Cancerophobia is the fear from developing cancer or a malignant growth in any part of the body. This phobia is tough to deal and handle with. The person who has been in close interaction or has been living with someone with a person suffering from cancer, tend to take this attack of malignant tumor as serious and start taking precautions to stay away from it. In the begining the symptoms start from simple reading about the prevention of cancer and may lead to severe anxiety and loss of control in deep cases.
There are instances of doctors beings suffereing from this fear at some point of their life if they come in contact with patients suffereing from cancer. The malignant growth fear makes people loose control when anything about cancer is discussed.
